Christmas Magic in the Northern Sky

The March challenge is posted at FARM QUEST COUNTRY CHRISTMAS and as always it's "anything Christmas/Holiday related that is an outdoor country setting".

My card features a magical winter sky with patterned paper that has a glowing background behind the silhouette of tall pine trees. The rich green, teal and purple tones create a beautiful night scene, while the purple bow and pearls add an elegant finishing touch.

The sentiment, “Believe in the Magic of Christmas” perfectly captures the wonder and joy of the holiday season.

My pretty birthday card features delicate floral patterned paper with soft stripes for a vintage-inspired look. The bold red ribbon and matching gem add a lovely pop of color and a touch of elegance.

The layered diecut flower and “Happy Birthday” sentiment finish the design, creating a sweet and cheerful card for a special celebration.

Lighthouse in the Ocean Card

The March challenge at GIRLZ MAKES GUYZ CARDS  is "maritime".

Create something for a guy that is ocean/sea/beach/shore themed.

This shaped card was so much fun to build ! The mason jar base card creates a unique frame for the lighthouse scene inside. I layered cardstock to give dimension to the lighthouse, clouds, birds, and shoreline, and added a bright beam of light to create movement and contrast against the dark blue background. The cork top finishes it off and really completes the “message in a bottle” feel.

Sorry, I Turtle-ly Forgot!

The March challenge at COLORFUL OPTIONS is "green".

Sometimes we all have those “oops” moments — and my card captures that perfectly ! I created these sweet little turtles slippers to go with the punny sentiment, “Sorry, I turtle-ly forgot ! ” Their big eyes and happy expressions keep it lighthearted, while the layered details add fun dimension.

Daffodil Bookmark

I made this layered bookmark using my Cricut. There’s something so happy about a bright yellow daffodil. It instantly feels like spring, even if there’s still a chill in the air. Yeah, sadly we got more snow today. But I got a half-day for a Snow Day ! So come on SPRING !!

I used layered cardstock to give the flower dimension and depth, then added a touch of glitter to the petals for a little sparkle. Because everything is better with a bit of shimmer, right? The yellow ribbon at the top finishes it off perfectly and adds that soft, delicate touch when it peeks out from the top of a book.

I love making bookmarks because they’re practical, quick to create, and make such sweet little gifts. This one feels like a tiny piece of sunshine tucked between the pages.

Coffee

Excited to be the guest designer at LATTES & LAYERS with LAUREL at Coffee Loving Papercrafts.
This month the theme is "coffee/tea/hot chocolate and green".

Here's my creation.

My card has all the cozy coffee vibes ! I paired a bold green card base with a beautiful alcohol ink background patterned paper in earthy greens and touches of gold. The arched panel frames the artwork perfectly, and the layered coffee cups with swirly steam add such a warm, inviting feel. A perfect card for the coffee lover in your life !

We all know someone who lives by the motto “Coffee Before Talkie” ! I designed this bold orange mug card to celebrate that morning mood. The layered details and cozy whipped topping make it almost good enough to sip — but for now, it’s just here to bring a smile!

The new challenge at PAPER ROCKS SCISSORS is posted for March. As always, it's" anything as long as you used paper and/or scissors to make it".

I love making cards that celebrate everyday joys, and this one is all about taking a moment for yourself. The layered makeup elements add such fun dimension, and the soft pink embossed hearts in the background keep everything sweet and playful.

Sometimes we all need a little reminder to treat ourselves !
