This cute Easter basket card is filled with sweet treats and cheerful spring details. The lattice basket design is decorated with a bunny, pastel Easter eggs, and a bright flower.

The “Happy Easter” banner adds the perfect finishing touch to this fun and festive project.

Sending Smiles & Confidence

I loved putting this card together ! The colorful florals instantly made me smile, and I wanted the design to feel just as uplifting as the sentiment. I loved doodling on it too ! Cards like this are perfect for sending a little encouragement to someone who needs a reminder of how amazing they are.

The sentiment comes from a wonderful motivational bundle at WHITE SPRUCE STUDIO. So many ways this bundle can be used. I printed them all off and have a beautiful set of sentiments to create cards.

A Card Full of Ocean Wishes

The challenge for STAR STAMPZ this month the challenge is "furry friends" or anything goes.

For this card I focused on coloring the sweet stamped image, called Goldfish Fishing. I had fun bringing the little scene to life while matching it with the fish-themed background paper. The playful sentiment, “If wishes were fishes I’d send you the whole ocean” makes this card perfect for sending a smile.

Pawsitively Spooktacular: Zoe’s Halloween Fun

This spooktacular layout captures one of my favorite Halloween moments featuring my sweet pup, Zoe ! Dressed for the occasion and posing beside a glowing jack-o’-lantern that I carved, she brings the perfect mix of cute and spooky to the page.

I went all in with bold Halloween colors—bright orange for the background paired with strips of black and purple patterned paper filled with bats, stars, and moons. These layers help create a playful, spooky vibe while drawing attention to the photos.

The angled photo mats add movement and energy, almost like Zoe is popping right out of the page ! I embellished with little stickers like a bat, a pumpkin, and a spider to tie everything together, while the Sweet and Spooky title perfectly sums up Zoe’s personality in this layout.

"Cheep" & Cheerful: A Chick Jar Craft

Happy SNOW DAY to me !!!
Yes...I know it's supposed to be SPRING !!! But, somehow Mother Nature doesn't seem to remember that here in Newfoundland !

So I played in my craft room all day !

I'm guest designer for March at Art Nudge.
This month the inspirational pictures are...

I used this picture as inspiration and recycled a jar and made a chickie jar.

I love finding creative ways to reuse everyday items, and this little chick jar was so much fun to make! I painted a recycled glass jar in a cheerful yellow and added a simple chick face to give it personality. The ribbon and button around the top add a sweet handmade touch, and the tissue paper inside makes it perfect for holding candies, small gifts, or even craft supplies.

This would make a cute spring decoration (add some daffodils) or a thoughtful handmade gift to hold some yummy Easter treats. It’s an easy project that brings a little sunshine to any space!

Materials: recycled jar, acrylic paint, Mod Podge, ribbon, button

A JOYful Little Reindeer

I'm happy to be a guest designer at GIRLZ CREATIVE CHRISTMAS. The challenge this week is a "shaped card".
My festive shaped card was such a fun project to create! The word JOY takes center stage, with a cute reindeer face forming the letter “O”. His shiny bright red nose and sweet little eyes give the card lots of personality and holiday charm. I placed a couple of snowflakes on the letters to add a touch of Winter sparkle. This card is a playful way to celebrate the joy and warmth of the Christmas season.

Materials: cardstock, Glossy Accent, Stickles glitter
My Reindeer JOY shaped card can be found at Cricut Design Space.

Bee-utiful Moments in Bloom

My layout was inspired by a quiet moment in my garden, where I captured a sweet little bee enjoying my flowers. I wanted to highlight not only the beauty of the photos but also the important role these tiny pollinators play.

To bring the theme to life, I leaned into a bold black and yellow color palette, mimicking the classic bee colors. The honeycomb patterns on either side frame the page beautifully and draw your eye right to the center, where the photos take the spotlight.

I layered the images on floral patterned paper to echo the natural setting, and added playful sentiments like Bee Awesome and What’s the Buzz to keep the layout lighthearted and fun. The angled photo placement adds movement—almost like the bee is buzzing from one flower to the next!

This page is a celebration of the little things in nature that bring so much joy—and a reminder to slow down and notice the beauty right outside our door.

Materials: Echo Park kit, cardstock, honeycomb cut from cardstock using my Cricut, distress oxide on the edges, white gel pen

United in Pink: A Tribute to Strength and Friendship

This 12 x 6 scrapbook page is a tribute to strength, friendship, and support. I chose a bold pink palette to reflect both the message of hope and the cause it represents. The patterned paper on the left adds movement and depth, while the awareness ribbon ties everything together with purpose.

At the center, I framed a special photo from October 2022, capturing a moment of unity and encouragement. The title Pals in Pink keeps the tone uplifting and celebratory, while the alphabet stickers add dimension and a playful touch.

To finish the design, I added a delicate border of hearts and a handwritten-style sentiment along the bottom: “When we fight, we fight as a team.” This phrase perfectly sums up the spirit behind the layout, reminding us that no one faces challenges alone.

Materials: cardstock, Basic Grey Bittersweet pattern papers, Basic Grey stickers, American Thickers letters, ribbon

A Trail of Hearts

The new challenge at CUT IT UP is "forever green (green is focus)". Of course, there must be at least one diecut.

For my card I created a clean and simple design using die cuts. The trail of tiny hearts flows across the card and loops into a larger heart, giving the design a fun sense of movement.

I softly inked the green background to add a little depth and make the teal hearts stand out. The sentiment “lucky in love” finishes the card perfectly and keeps the design simple and sweet.

Sometimes a few die-cut elements and a little ink blending are all you need to create a cheerful card that sends a lot of love.

*Materials are all cardstock.

Color Your World Happy

My bright and joyful card is all about embracing color and positivity! The bold patterned paper creates a beautiful tie-dye effect that instantly draws the eye, making it the perfect backdrop for an encouraging sentiment. I added a soft purple ribbon for a touch of texture and dimension, along with a playful happy face charm to give it a bit of personality. The layered sentiment , “Choose to Be Happy”, stands out against the vibrant background, reminding us that happiness can be found in the little things. This design is simple to put together but full of impact thanks to the striking patterned paper and some little details.

The sentiment comes from a wonderful motivational bundle at WHITE SPRUCE STUDIO. So many ways this bundle can be used. I printed them all off and have a beautiful set of sentiments to create cards.
